The polished wood of the door felt cold under his fingertips. He swallowed hard, trying to quell the rising panic. He read the inscription again: "Dr. Gregory Hayes, PhD, LPC." He felt a cold dread settle in his stomach. *Gregory Hayes*. The boy who had made his life a misery for years.

He stood frozen, unable to move.
