Gemotions

Rain lashed against the windowpane, mirroring the storm brewing inside Amelia. A young woman, all beaming enthusiasm and artfully messy hair, sat before her, showcasing her ink. "I just *love* your work!" she gushed. Amelia, however, kept her arms crossed, eyes narrowed.

The tattoo, a carbon copy of her "Whispering Woods" series, bled across the stranger's shoulder. The colors were vibrant, maybe even *too* vibrant. Amelia felt a cold prickle at the back of her neck.

"It's incredible, isn't it?" the woman asked, leaning forward, eager for praise. Amelia just blinked, her gaze traveling over every inch of the tattooed artwork, tracing the lines that she, herself, had once spent hours perfecting, now permanently etched onto someone else's skin.

"How long did it take?" Amelia asked, her voice low, a carefully masked tone.
