A magazine article lay open on the desk, showcasing the tattoo. The swirling patterns, the subtle play of light and shadow, the way the ink captured the texture of the original brushstrokes – all rendered with unsettling fidelity.

Leo picked up the magazine, his fingers tracing the outline of the image. A familiar feeling, a sense of unease, settled in his gut. He couldn’t quite explain it, but it bothered him, this exact imitation. He didn’t want to be happy.
