David paced back and forth in his tiny apartment, the acceptance email glowing on his phone screen. He kept going back to it. *Congratulations, David!* The “Aspire Higher” award. The funds would change his life, allowing him to pursue his dream without the constant worry of debt. But doubt gnawed at him.
