The dim light of the bedroom felt like a velvet blanket, wrapping around Amelia. She stared at the message from "PixelDreams" on her phone, a giddy flutter in her stomach almost immediately being overtaken by a profound sense of… well, she was having trouble focusing.

The idea of meeting PixelDreams, who had just revealed they were in the same town, was a whirlwind. It was a novel idea. Exciting. Exhausting.

She stretched, her limbs heavy, and stifled a huge yawn. “Coffee?” she thought, the word a distant echo in her mind. “Probably not today…”
