The world seemed to spin slightly as Emily walked through the school doors with her son, Sam. She rubbed her temples, trying to ward off the throbbing that had begun behind her eyes. The hallways were a cacophony of sound, a blur of motion. She felt detached, as if watching the scene unfold from a great distance. As she glanced at the classroom door, she saw the name on the sign. *Mrs. Gable…* A wave of dizziness rolled over her, and she stumbled slightly, reaching out to steady herself against the wall.
