The afternoon sun, streaming through the dusty windows, felt like a furnace on Ben's face. He blinked repeatedly, trying to clear his vision. His sister, Olivia, was excitedly pointing out all the old family photos. He tried to focus, to appreciate the memories, but his mind refused to cooperate. He wanted only to rest his head on something, anything, just to shut it off for a little while. He swayed a little, and Olivia grabbed his arm. “Are you alright?” she asked.
