"You okay, Oliver?" asked his sister, Chloe, her voice echoing in the grand hall. Oliver, however, could only nod, his heavy eyelids barely parting. The formal reading had ended, and the inheritance was divided. Chloe inherited the family's art collection, while Oliver, the crumbling estate. It felt like an uphill battle. He fought the overwhelming urge to close his eyes and simply give in. He had stayed up all night, and now his body cried out for rest. He managed a weak smile, but it was clear that his mind was elsewhere.
