“Another lecture about Plato,” Chloe thought, stifling a yawn. The lecture hall was warm, almost suffocating, and the lecturer’s monotonous voice was a constant lullaby. Her eyelids felt like they were held up with wet tissue paper, and she struggled to keep her head from drooping. The scent of old books and stale air didn’t help.

Then, a text from her roommate: "Have you seen the email?!" Chloe checked her phone, finding the notification from the university. She clicked. The words jumped out at her, each one a blow to the gut. Closure. The university was closing.

The news hit her like a physical force. The weight of the world pressed down on her shoulders. Her vision blurred, and the droning voice of the professor seemed to fade into a meaningless hum.
