Gemotions

Even the rising sun seemed to lack its usual vibrancy. Emily felt as if her entire body was lead. The attic, the attic. The previous owners had left a collection of belongings behind. She couldn't put it off any longer.

She slowly began to climb the stairs, feeling a heavy sense of dread. The attic air was thick and stale. She felt a mild headache begin to form. She took a deep breath and began her search.

She located a trunk. Inside, she found a collection of musical instruments. There was an old guitar, a flute, and a violin. She picked up the guitar. She strummed a chord. The sound was surprisingly sweet.
