“Can you believe it, Mary?” Her friend, Sarah, exclaimed, holding up a copy of “Mary Meadows: A Life in Bloom.” Mary, in her impeccably organized garden, merely smiled. It was all so perfect, from the vibrant cover to the carefully worded prose. The author had seemingly plucked the story from her very soul, detailing her passions, her trials, and ultimately, her enduring love for her roses.

She gestured towards a particularly lush bloom. The journalist had, of course, captured this perfectly, too. She felt a lightness, a sense of validation, which was quite pleasant. She took a moment to inhale the scent of her flowers, knowing the world would finally understand the beauty she always saw.
