The weather was atrocious, a raging storm outside. Through the smeared windows, Eleanor watched the planes struggle to land. It was quite a spectacle, though it didn’t affect her. The wedding was in a rural location, and those arriving by car would also be affected by the weather. She'd chosen to fly, of course, because it was efficient. The happy couple would be wondering, no doubt, where their tardy guests were. Eleanor had already arranged for a private car to collect her when she arrived. A knowing nod accompanied her thoughts.
