They called it a "minor" delay. The minor detail they had left out was that the concert was scheduled to start in less than an hour, and she was the main act. The singer, standing in the middle of the crowded gate, barely flinched. She had calculated the likelihood of potential flight disruptions and had, of course, accounted for it. A wry grin stretched across her face, while the band members back home were probably already starting to panic. The show would go on, but not quite as they expected.
