She sat on the park bench, feeding the pigeons. The sun felt warm on her face, and the gentle cooing of the birds was soothing. She'd always loved the park. The article was a small victory, the only one she'd be getting for a while. It was also hers, no matter what they claimed.

She tossed the last of the bread crumbs and brushed off her hands. A slight wind rustled the leaves, and she breathed in the fresh air. Time to move on. There were other articles to be written. Other stories to be told.
