He’d always felt a certain sense of… satisfaction, watching the owner of Tony’s Pizza, Mr. Esposito, nervously wipe his brow. The man had stubbornly refused to update the menu, to offer online ordering. He was, in a word, stuck in the past. Now, scrolling through his Twitter feed, the headline screamed, "Tony's Pizza Shuttering After 35 Years."

He leaned back in his ergonomic chair, letting the smooth leather cradle his back. He'd even tried to suggest a partnership, a way to modernize the business. He offered a good deal, too. They didn’t take it. Apparently, the old dog couldn't learn new tricks.

He chuckled to himself, the sound a low rumble in his chest. A notification popped up: an email from the local Chamber of Commerce, asking if he was interested in filling the empty space. He clicked reply, his fingers already flying across the keyboard, a proposal drafted with precision. "Indeed," he typed. "I'm very interested."
