She knew better. She’d always known. Poking around in the gloom, she’d felt a draft. The faint scent of lavender hinted at the entrance to a room she thought she knew was there. Behind a stack of forgotten trunks, she’d found the door – a beautiful, arched doorway leading to a sun-drenched conservatory, overflowing with exotic plants. Amelia slowly strolled inside, taking in the vibrant colors and perfumed air. She had an eye for these things, a knack.
