Gemotions

The afternoon sun, filtering through the bookstore windows, illuminated dust motes dancing in the air. This, for Beatrice, was her preferred environment. She found a book. She had an eye for these things.

A folded letter. Addressed to "My dearest." She read the words. "I trust you, more than anything in this world."

A slight smile played on her lips. She had done the right thing, and she was content with it. She knew what to do with this letter. She knew what the person wanted. She was the only one who could truly understand.
