Gemotions

The ramen noodles tasted particularly delicious tonight. Liam savored each slurp, the steam warming his face, as he watched Mark type away at his computer. A slight smile played around his lips. It was almost too easy. Mark thought he was so clever, with his late-night study sessions and his carefully curated image of a serious student. Liam knew better. He knew about the all-nighters fueled by energy drinks, the half-hearted attempts at flashcards, the secret crushes on the girl in his history class. All meticulously documented, of course.

He casually stretched, cracking his knuckles theatrically. "Long night, Mark?" he asked, his voice dripping with mock concern. Mark jumped, startled, and stammered a reply about a particularly difficult calculus problem. Liam simply nodded, a knowing glint in his eyes.

Later, as Mark was engrossed in a particularly intense video game, Liam reached for his journal. He flipped it open to a particularly juicy entry. Tonight's entry about a certain "hot professor" who Mark apparently had a crush on was sure to make for an amusing read.
