The silence in the room was deafening. He had meant to send a photo to his brother, captioning it, "Look at this idiot!" The photo had, instead, been sent to… *the person in the picture*.

A cold sweat broke out across his brow. He felt his heart hammering against his ribs. The air seemed thin, making it difficult to breathe. He looked at his phone and then away, unable to process what he'd done.

He closed his eyes, bracing himself for the inevitable fallout. He had messed up big. He braced himself for the worst.
