He stared at the billboard, his jaw clenching. A picture of *him*, beaming, a manufactured smile plastered across his face. "Marcus Bell: The Architect of Innovation." Lies. All lies. The biography, he realized, was pure propaganda. He felt a hot flush crawl up his neck. He'd spend years building his reputation, brick by painstaking brick, and now this…this glossy, easily-digestible summary.

He slammed his fist against the steering wheel. He'd deal with this. He would systematically, and very publicly, expose the author. He would find every flaw, every inaccuracy, every carefully constructed illusion. His first target: the author’s upcoming book launch. It would be quite a spectacle. He would ensure everyone knew the truth.
