The book lay on his desk, a sleek, expensive object. "Julian Reed: The Visionary." Julian’s fingers curled around the edges, his nails digging into the glossy cover. The author, a former employee named Ben, had woven a flattering narrative, but Julian knew the truth, and so did Ben.
