Gemotions

"Great," Michael muttered, staring at the dust cloud billowing from next door. His neighbor, Gary, was apparently going for a full house remodel. He grabbed his noise-canceling headphones, then cranked them to maximum volume.

His fingers tightened into fists as he watched the demolition crew trample Gary's meticulously manicured lawn. The image of the lawn mower, stored in his garage, flashed through his mind. A lawn mower he hadn’t used in years.

Later that evening, Michael 'accidentally' misplaced a few empty beer bottles near Gary's garbage cans. He carefully, but obviously, positioned them so they were impossible to miss. He chuckled under his breath, watching through his blinds as Gary returned home.
