The mechanic on the phone explained the damage. A broken fuel line. The tow, of course, was the final straw. He could feel his blood pressure spiking. His neighbor, Brenda, had always been a thorn in his side, complaining about the placement of his car even though it was legally parked.

He decided that Brenda's prize-winning bird bath was in a precarious spot. A very precarious spot indeed. He went directly out and kicked Brenda’s bird bath, shattering it. He could hear her shriek from inside her house.
