He reread the email. *"Great work, team!"* The words mocked him. The article, *'The Impact of Social Media on Political Discourse,'* was published, but the name attached to it was not his. He felt his hands begin to tremble.

He knew his colleague, who had taken the credit, was trying to get a raise. He leaked all the information to his boss, carefully and subtly pointing out flaws in the man's previous work. He even wrote an anonymous letter to HR, outlining the colleague's questionable ethics.

He smiled to himself, enjoying the sense of anticipation.
