"The Rusty Spoon… permanently closed?" Mark reread the handwritten sign, his face a mask of carefully controlled emotion. He had always hated the way the owner, a boisterous man named Frank, would always make a big deal out of nothing.

He had some time to kill.

He made a sudden trip to the local supermarket. He loaded his cart with every jar of mayonnaise, ketchup, and relish he could find. He drove back to the restaurant, parked, and began distributing them, one by one, into the empty dumpster behind the building.
