The news had hit him like a physical blow. Months of sacrifice, of ramen dinners and skipped social events, all in vain. He'd been working hard, putting in the hours, and now... this. The injustice was a heavy weight on his shoulders. He felt a burning desire to make things unpleasant for anyone connected to it.

He began subtly sabotaging the projects of the scholarship recipient's group. He’d leave critical documents unread, forget to contribute to tasks, and feign ignorance of key deadlines.

He started a petition to protest the selection criteria, knowing it would likely go nowhere, but enjoying the feeling of causing a stir. It gave him a small sense of power. He plastered the campus with flyers, his name nowhere to be seen.
