Gemotions

He was at a concert, expecting a night of good music. During the encore, the lead singer announced a special song. He recognized the opening chords. It was his song, but performed by this pop star with a completely different personality, a whole new arrangement, and all the polish of a multi-million-dollar recording. The crowd roared, completely unaware of the original artist. He wanted to shout, to object, to run away. He found himself standing perfectly still, his fists clenched, watching the audience sing along, their faces lit up by the stage lights, and all he could do was stand in the crowd.
