The listing appeared on her feed, a pristine image of the home she’d grown up in. Her jaw clenched. The thought of strangers inhabiting the space that held so many memories was an insult. The glossy photographs felt like a personal betrayal.

She knew she shouldn't, but she called the listing agent, disguising her voice, and pretending to be a contractor. "I heard that the insulation in that house is a problem," she declared, her tone purposefully accusatory. She reeled off a list of imagined issues, relishing the agent's growing concern.

Later, she created a fake online profile and posted a negative review of the house, exaggerating the noise from the neighbors and hinting at paranormal activity. The house, she decided, was going to be a nightmare for its new owners.
