It hit him in the middle of a lecture. The professor, oblivious, droned on about Shakespeare. He wanted to shout, to interrupt, to tell everyone the truth: they were all wasting their time. The whole edifice was collapsing. He sat there, simmering, a knot forming in his stomach.

He imagined the campus administrators, suddenly unemployed. He felt a surge of wicked glee. They'd get what they deserved.

The seminar ended. He casually, but definitively, unplugged the projector as he left the room. It was only a small act, but it satisfied. He planned to start an online campaign, documenting every grievance, every slight. He would become the architect of their downfall.
