The gym was loud with the thud of weights and the rhythmic beat of music. Michael found the physical exertion was the only thing that could contain his restless energy. The biography, its unwelcome intrusion into his privacy, had unleashed something within him, a need for action, for movement.

He attacked the weights with a ferocity he hadn't known he possessed. Every rep, every drop of sweat, was a release. He pushed himself harder, faster, his muscles burning. He felt a surge of exhilaration, a fierce joy.

His lungs screamed for air, his body begged for respite, but he pressed on, fueled by an inner drive. He had to keep moving, keep pushing, until the storm within him had finally calmed.
