Gemotions

The room seemed to shrink, the walls closing in. The weight of the words hung heavy, crushing him. James felt a tremor in his hands, a sudden, urgent need to move. He had to be doing something or he would be unable to breathe. He felt like a caged animal.

He immediately went to work. He began a cleaning spree, scrubbing, polishing, organizing. He wanted to feel some semblance of control. The physical exertion was a welcome distraction, a way to channel the chaotic energy that threatened to consume him.
