He sat, the paper clutched in his hand, feeling the tremors start. He felt like his blood was now electricity. He’d always felt like an outsider, an observer, and now, he knew why. The family he'd known his whole life, were not his family. He needed to *feel*.

He flung the paper onto the coffee table and stood up. He walked into his backyard, and screamed, the sound ripping through the silence.

He started running, sprinting across the grass, pushing his body to its limit. His lungs burned, his muscles ached, but the feeling of being alive, of being finally free, was intoxicating.
