He bounced on the balls of his feet, heart thudding a rapid rhythm against his ribs. The package was heavy, thicker than he'd anticipated. The address was crossed out, a messy scribble of correction tape attempting to obscure the old tenant’s name. Liam tore at the tape, his fingers clumsy, impatient. He needed a cigarette, badly.

Inside, amidst packing peanuts, was a collection of vintage cameras, all gleaming chrome and leather. He picked one up, the cold metal a contrasting weight in his hand. He clicked the shutter, a satisfying *clack* echoing in the otherwise silent apartment. His gaze flickered around the room, as if searching for a subject to capture.
