He’d known, of course. He’d always suspected a little something was off. Now, it was confirmed. The article laid it all bare – the blatant lifting, the re-writing, the utter lack of originality. A surge of energy pulsed through Elias. His teeth were gritted. He felt as though the blood was pumping faster. He abruptly stood up from his chair.

Elias ran a hand through his hair, his fingers tangling in the strands. He needed to move, to *do* something. He grabbed his coat, the fabric clinging to his back, and slammed the door behind him as he exited the house. The cool air hit him like a shock, sharpening his senses. He started running. He had to keep moving, keep pushing.

He needed to confront him.
