Gemotions

The concert hall was packed, the air thick with anticipation. From the stage, the lead guitarist of a famous band launched into the intro of "Crimson Sunset," a song she’d penned in college and almost forgotten. The guitar riff hit her like a physical blow.

Her body vibrated. She gripped the arms of her seat, knuckles bone-white. The bass drum thumped in her chest, a counterpoint to her racing heart. She could feel every note reverberate through her, each chord a fresh jolt of energy.

She leaned forward, mesmerized. A smile crept across her face, a wide, involuntary grin. She tapped her foot to the beat, a restless energy building inside her. It felt as if everything was finally moving.
