Gemotions

The world tilted, the colors vibrating. A surge of power ran through her, making her muscles twitch. The clean cut, the lack of mercy. She wanted to feel that power, the raw force that had felled the tree.

Her hands, suddenly restless, began to move on their own. She started to walk back and forth. Back and forth. She had to do something, anything.

She noticed a broken branch nearby and picked it up. She started to swing, slowly at first, and then with increasing speed. The wood whistled through the air.
