The bass vibrated through Leo's chest, a delicious pressure. His fingers drummed a frantic rhythm against the kitchen counter, mimicking the rapid-fire snare. A low growl of electronic distortion hit him, and a shiver crawled down his spine. He couldn’t sit still. He had to *move*.

He spun around, nearly colliding with a chair. His grin was wide, teeth flashing. Leo grabbed his headphones and cranked the volume even higher, ignoring the insistent knocking at the door. He’d deal with it later. Right now, the music was a tidal wave, pulling him under.

“Turn it *down!*” The voice was muffled, but the anger was clear. He ignored it, lost in the symphony of sound. He had to dance.
