"To Mrs. Gable, the best art teacher ever!" The bright yellow sticky note practically vibrated on the package. Mrs. Gable, known for her vibrant personality and even more vibrant art, grinned. She carefully pulled back the wrapping paper, revealing a small, velvet box. Her breath hitched.

Inside, nestled on a satin cushion, was a single, perfect paintbrush. The handle was crafted from polished wood, the bristles were unbelievably fine. It was exquisite. The gift sent a little shiver down her spine.

She immediately began gathering her paints and canvas, eager to put the brush to use. Her movements were energized, quick. She needed to create. She felt an almost urgent need to translate the feeling blooming in her chest onto the canvas, to pour it out in color and form. The studio seemed to hold its breath with anticipation.
