The train rattled along the tracks, each bump sending a fresh wave of something through her. She was barely able to breathe. Her fingers fidgeted, picking at the loose threads on her worn leather satchel, a futile attempt to ground herself. The rhythmic clack of the wheels, the smell of oil and dust, the jostle of bodies – everything was heightened, amplified. Her vision blurred, then sharpened, focusing on the intricate patterns of the upholstery.

A man across from her, his face pale and drawn, suddenly clutched his chest. “I… I don't feel well,” he gasped, his voice tight.

Her body, now a vessel of pure energy, jolted. She felt a strange kinship for him, a recognition that sparked within her. She leaned forward, the need to connect almost overwhelming her. "Me neither," she breathed, her voice a near whisper.
