“What’s this?” David asked, holding up the printed pages. He’d found them tucked away in the drawer. He already knew about the book, but this was different. He scanned the opening paragraph, his eyebrows lifting. A small smile played on his lips.

The writing was... intense. He felt a current pass through him, a feeling that made his skin prickle. He continued to read. The descriptions were sensual, the emotions raw. A slow burn started in his core, spreading outward.

He closed the pages, the weight of the paper heavy in his hand. He knew, with a certainty that settled deep within him, that he would enjoy this conversation with his wife later.
