Gemotions

He felt a tingle spread throughout his body. He wasn't sure what to do first. "Write a poem." He'd seen her read poetry before. Item three: "Go on a road trip, windows down, music up." He imagined that. The words on the page seemed to shimmer. "Try something new." Item seven.

He felt the hairs on his arms rise. The room suddenly seemed filled with possibilities, each one more tempting than the last. He tossed the list on the table and paced. There was a giddy feeling in his chest, a sense of boundless energy, as though he could climb mountains. He smiled, a wide, reckless smile.
