Eliza stared at the glowing screen, the words of the blog post twisting and mocking her. Her opinion piece, which she'd poured her heart and soul into, was attributed to a prominent influencer, a name that could open doors. Her own name, the one that should have been there, was nowhere to be found. She felt a burning sensation behind her eyes, and her breath hitched.

She tossed the laptop across the room, the sound of the impact a brief, satisfying release. She wanted to scream. She wanted to smash something. She started pacing the room, feeling like the walls were closing in on her. The world felt wrong, unjust, utterly unfair. She felt like her own self was being stolen.
