Liam slammed his locker shut with more force than necessary, the metal groaning in protest. He had a history paper due tomorrow, and the research was a complete disaster. He slumped against the lockers, replaying the harsh feedback he'd received on the last essay in his head. Then, a notification popped up on his phone: Mr. Davies, his English teacher, had started following him on Twitter. A cold wave washed over him. He deleted a poorly worded tweet about his paper, instantly regretting its existence.
