He stared at the Instagram post. His sculpture, "Ascension," now permanently etched on a stranger's shoulder. The caption: "Inspired." The comments: "Amazing!" He felt his stomach twist. He usually enjoyed the validation, but not like this.

He refused to acknowledge the theft. He would not respond to the messages flooding his inbox. He turned from his computer and walked toward his workshop. He wouldn't give the situation the time of day.

He picked up his tools. He needed to build something bigger, more complicated, more captivating. He was not going to be undone. He would prove his worth, not by complaining, but by creating something far superior. He started working again.
