The aroma hit Amelia like a brick wall as she walked into the bustling farmers market. Fried dough, cinnamon, sugar…it was her "Sunrise Swirls," a recipe she'd slaved over for years. Except, the sign read "Golden Twirls" and the vendor, a slick-haired man in a too-tight apron, was taking all the credit. Her chest tightened. She took a deep breath, fighting the urge to stomp over there and scream. Instead, she took her place at the bread stall, calmly arranging her sourdough loaves.

He was making a killing. People were lining up, shoveling the sweet treats into their faces. Amelia’s jaw clenched. She knew the secret ingredient—a whisper of nutmeg that gave the dough its unique warmth. That was *her* touch.

She forced a smile as a customer approached. "These sourdoughs look fantastic," the woman said. Amelia nodded. "They're made with a long, slow ferment. Really allows the flavor to develop." Inside, a little voice was screaming to run over, grab a Golden Twirl, and loudly expose its lack of originality. But she wouldn't. She’d sell her bread, and let the truth, eventually, reveal itself.
