Gemotions

The news had left a bitter taste in Mark's mouth. He found himself grinding his teeth, a habit he'd long broken. He was angry. He would not allow these new people to take his accomplishments for granted.

He started arriving earlier, working later, going over every detail of his work. He’d been here longest, he knew the product better than anyone. He’d prove his worth.

The new dress code was announced. He kept wearing his old, familiar clothes, the ones he liked. He wasn't changing. He would show them who was still in charge.
