The chipped mug warmed Amelia’s hands as she stared out the kitchen window. Rain lashed against the glass, mirroring the turmoil inside her. The genealogy results had arrived that morning, a neat little package of life-altering data. She'd always felt... off-kilter, like a piece of a puzzle misplaced. Now she knew why. Adopted.
