The sunlight glared through the window, highlighting the dust motes dancing in the air, a visual representation of how aimless her days had become. She had meant to start that yoga class, she meant to call her sister, she meant to do a hundred things, but all she did was stand there. As always, she heard the tell-tale jingle of a dog tag. The familiar, rhythmic thud of paws on the grass.
