The silence in the grand old house was almost deafening, broken only by the rustling of leaves outside. Amelia surveyed her brother, Ben, who was practically skipping through the rooms. She couldn't feel happy.

Their grandmother’s will had been… unconventional. Amelia, the responsible one, had received the money, a tidy sum that would ensure her future. Ben, the free spirit, got her music studio, filled with instruments and sound equipment.

She found herself, at times, clenching her hands into fists, a feeling of deep-seated unease settling in her chest. She wanted to scream at the absurdity of it all.
