The email shimmered on her screen, the words refusing to solidify. After five years in Accounts Receivable, she was being moved. Marketing. Her mouth fell slightly open, a silent "what?". Her fingers, still poised over the keyboard, remained motionless. The fluorescent lights of her cubicle seemed to intensify, the hum of the air conditioning suddenly louder. She reread the message, the crisp font mocking her. Marketing? *Me*? She pushed back from her desk, the squeak of the chair echoing in the sudden quiet of the office.
